The shimmery fragments on the water pipe, hand pipes, and dabbers were made from the combination of heat from the nuclear fireball and sand from the first atomic bomb detonation in White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. These one of a kind pieces contain Trinitite, a radioactive by-product that has decayed and does not cause harm, but can be a scientific show-and-tell for all.
